ALA (American Legion Auxiliary) Evergreen Girls State 2027 is open for all 2026-2027 high school junior girls. Please complete and submit the application below to apply. Once application is received, a Evergreen Girls State Committee Member will contact you.

Please answer all questions honestly. We can accommodate all citizens regarding health concerns. Failure to disclose pertinent information may result in suspension from the Girls State program.

Financial Assistance

Independent Enrollment: Applicants pay the full $530 ($320.00 reservation fee and $210.00 registration fee) cost to attend. Sponsored Enrollment: Applicants will be interviewed and sponsored by a local American Legion Auxiliary Unit. Sponsoring Units will pay the $320 reservation fee while the applicant will be required to pay the $210 registration fee. Applicants may be requested to attend a Unit meeting the following Fall to share information about their experience at ALA Evergreen Girls State. Full Financial Aid: Applicants will be interviewed and sponsored by a local American Legion Auxiliary Unit. Sponsoring Units will pay the full $530.00 fee ($320.00 reservation fee and $210.00 registration fee). Applicants may be requested to attend a Unit meeting the following Fall to share information about their experience at ALA Evergreen Girls State.

American Legion Auxiliary Evergreen Girls State will be held in Ellensburg, WA on the Central Washington University campus June 21st through June 26th. We hereby voluntarily waive any claim against agents, instructors and employees, for any accident or other situation which many arise in connection with travel to or from, attendance at, or participation in this year's Girls State, from the time of the citizens departure from home until their return thereto.

This will certify that WA, the undersigned parent, or guardian, do in the event that my (our) child becomes a participating member of the American Legion Auxiliary Evergreen Girls State, to be held in Ellensburg, WA. June 21st through June 26th (inclusive), hereby consent and grant permission, should the necessity of recommended by qualified or attending professional, including the administration of an anesthetic, laboratory procedures, medical or surgical treatment, x-ray examination or other hospital services.

I agree to allow the use of my daughter's photos, quotes and/or likeness in brochures, ads, web pages, videotapes, and other media as determined useful by the American Legion Auxiliary Evergreen Girls State program for marketing purposes. I waive rights to any royalty or fees that might be applicable for the use of such images, quotes, or likeness.
